Overview: This land located between the nation’s two greatest rivers, the Parana and Uruguay rivers, encompasses a great biodiversity. Besides the widely known Iguazú National Park, declared a World Natural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO, Iberá Marshlands is a region not to be missed. This ecosystem is home to more than 300 species of birds, 85 mammals and 70 reptiles including the South American Cayman.
